Sunlight Mountain Cattle Ranch, LLC Steps for Admission
Sunlight Mountain Cattle Ranch, LLC runs a year-round program and can accept new students anytime. We base acceptance on reviews of the student’s current and past behavior history and consultation with the student’s parents or sponsor.
Sunlight Mountain Cattle Ranch, LLC mentors teenage boys (ages 10-17) to change and prepare for life ahead by teaching them the values and skills needed for success in the real world.
We serve boys with a history of mild emotional and behavioral problems, low self-esteem, defiance, and academic underachievement.
Step 1: Evaluate
First, you’ll need to help us determine if your son will be a good fit for the young men we work with at Sunlight Mountain Cattle Ranch, LLC. You can review our student profile and complete a quick online admission interview form. Sunlight Mountain Cattle Ranch, LLC does not offer services to boys who are homeless, possess criminal infractions, or have intellectual disabilities.
Step 2: Contact a Mentor
When you decide your son will be a good fit for Sunlight Mountain Cattle Ranch, LLC., you must speak with Admissions. We also help evaluate whether your insurance will cover treatment costs and offer finance suggestions if needed. Then, you can know your monthly out-of-pocket expenses for treatment. You may also set up a ranch tour with Admissions.
Step 3: Complete the Application Packet

You can also arrange for your son’s transportation to Sunlight Mountain Cattle Ranch. Parents are welcome to travel to Sunlight Mountain Cattle Ranch, LLC., with their son, and we do not recommend that he fly to Yellowstone Regional Airport alone. We can help you arrange transport with our transportation service for an additional fee.
Step 4: Enrollment and Evaluation
Once your son arrives at Sunlight Mountain Cattle Ranch, LLC, we will complete all enrollment details and arrange for an evaluation.
